Recipe for spicy shrimp salad with mango explained

Ingredients (2 persons)

  • 100 grams of lamb's lettuce

  • 200 grams of shrimp

  • 1 stalk of spring onion

  • 1 avocado

  • 1 mango

  • 1 lime

  • 3 cloves of garlic

  • 1/2 chili pepper

  • 3 tbsp mayonnaise

Preparation method

  • Put 3/4 of the mango, 3 tbsp mayonnaise, 1 tbsp olive oil, 1 clove of garlic, 1/2 red chili (with seeds) and the juice of 1 lime in a tall bowl. Blend until smooth dressing with an immersion blender.

  • Divide the lamb's lettuce over two plates. Cut the spring onion, avocado, and the remaining mango into pieces and distribute them over the salad.

  • Heat a wok and briefly sauté the remaining 2 cloves of garlic. Add the shrimp and cook until they are pink.

  • Distribute the shrimp over the salad and finish with the dressing.
