Recipe for sauerkraut salad with feta and olives explained

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon honey

  • 3 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1 teaspoon paprika powder

  • 1 teaspoon chili powder

  • 250 grams drained sauerkraut

  • 6 sun-dried tomatoes

  • 100 grams feta cheese

  • 100 grams black olives

  • 1 spring onion

  • 2 tablespoons parsley

Preparation method

  1. Drain the sauerkraut well and then place it in a bowl.

  2. Cut the sun-dried tomatoes into strips and the spring onions into small rings. Mix them into the sauerkraut.

  3. Then crumble the feta over the sauerkraut and distribute the olives.

  4. Put a small bowl with the honey in the microwave for 10 seconds. Then make a dressing with the olive oil, paprika powder, chili powder, and 1 tablespoon of finely chopped parsley.

  5. Serve the sauerkraut salad with the dressing and garnish with the remaining parsley!

Variation tip!

  • Serve with a piece of steak.

  • Add a handful of almonds or chopped walnuts for an extra crunch.

  • Serve as lunch with some pieces of smoked chicken breast in it.
