Recipe: Homemade Muesli

In this article about the homemade muesli recipe: Muesli! 🥜 For those who like to sprinkle a bit of muesli over their quark; a delicious recipe for homemade muesli full of nutrients and without any junk. You can completely adjust this recipe to what you have at home, or which nuts and seeds you like. The protein powder can also be omitted if desired.

Homemade muesli recipe explained

Ingredients for approximately 900 grams of homemade muesli (+/- 30 servings of 30 grams)
– 130 grams almonds
– 100 grams pecans
– 150 grams rolled oats
– 65 grams sunflower seeds
– 65 grams pumpkin seeds
– 40 grams ground flaxseed
– 30 grams protein powder
– 90 grams coconut chips
– 2 tbsp peanut butter (or almond butter)
– 2 tbsp coconut oil
– 80 ml water
– 4 tbsp freeze-dried strawberries
– 1 tsp vanilla extract
– a few drops of stevia or 2 tbsp honey/sugar
– 1 tbsp cinnamon
– pinch of salt

Preparation method
1. Preheat the oven to 150 degrees.
2. Chop the nuts and mix them with the rolled oats, seeds, and coconut chips.
3. Mix the peanut butter with the oil, cinnamon, salt, sweetener and/or sugar, protein powder, water, and vanilla extract.
4. Stir both mixtures together. Spread it out in a baking dish and press down firmly.
5. Bake until crispy for 30-40 minutes.

Nutritional values per 30-gram serving of homemade muesli:
Calories: 133
Fats: 11.4 grams
Proteins: 4.4 grams
Carbohydrates: 2.8 grams
